On Equal Pay Day, LEAD Network Reaffirms Commitment to Fair Compensation
International Equal Pay Day reminds us that closing the gap is not just fair - it’s urgent.
Did you know that globally, women only make 77 cents for every dollar men earn? And that women are still paid less than men across all regions?

Whilst most people agree with the concept of ‘equal pay for work of equal value’, we’re unfortunately some way off from fair compensation being a reality. So today, on International Equal Pay Day, it’s important to reflect on what needs to change and what we can individually do (or influence) to create fairer workplaces.
LEAD Network stands in solidarity with the Equal Pay International Coalition (EPIC) as it strives to engage everyone in the goal of achieving equal pay for women and men everywhere. Our dedicated community of 25,000 Members remain committed to #DoingNotTrying to create more equitable and inclusive workplaces where people of all genders have an equal opportunity to thrive.
