Leadership transition in the LEAD Network Netherlands Chapter
We are pleased to welcome Louise Harvey, PhD, Senior Team Leader, Metabolic Health, Medical and Nutritional Sciences at Danone Global Research & Innovation Center, as the new Co-Chair of the LEAD Network Netherlands Chapter.
Louise brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to building more inclusive organisations.
Reflecting on her motivation to volunteer, she said: “I volunteer because, in my experience, inclusion happens when we make it a priority. Visibility creates possibility and I want to contribute to an industry where women and minorities are seen, heard, trusted, supported, and celebrated. Investment in diverse leadership isn’t just about scorecards or quotas: it’s a powerful catalyst for better decisions, greater innovation, and stronger business performance.”
In her new volunteer role, Louise will help strengthen the Netherlands Chapter community and advance its work to create a more inclusive consumer goods and retail industry.
As we welcome Louise, we also extend our sincere thanks to Simone Pieters (Kraft Heinz) who is stepping down from her Co-Chair role temporarely. Simone’s dedication and leadership have contributed significantly to the Chapter’s continued growth and impact, and we are deeply grateful for everything she has brought to the community.
Please join us in thanking Simone and giving Louise a warm welcome to the Netherlands Chapter leadership team.
