Setting the course for our organization's future

Earlier this week, the LEAD Network Advisory Board, Leadership, and Core Teams met in Amsterdam for two days of strategic planning. Well-thought workshops on the definition of success, setting priorities, and the resources needed for efficient execution to set the course for our organization's future. 

Our strategic vision is to be the D&I network of choice, building our partner's capability to accelerate progress toward gender equality within the consumer goods and retail industry in Europe: To be the voice of the industry on D&I.

Members of the Advisory Board and Leadership teams, volunteers Annelie Verstraaten, Kirsten Wood, Lauren Stiebing, Jennifer Ragland, Mick Broekhof, Sarah McGowan, Stephane Grenier, Tanya Kopps, Thomas Allmark, and Veronika Pountcheva, and LEAD Network team Allyson Zimmermann, Neha Lagoo, Sam Tunney, and Sharon Jeske brought their valuable expertise and knowledge to the strategic planning days.  Monika Collee and Ivy Crawford, Marketing and Communications Committee leads in PR and Adhoc celebrations, respectively, also attended and provided their perspective as volunteers. 

Sarah McGowan joined virtually to provide insights on the new governance structure, areas of focus, and budget that has to pass approval at the Board of Directors on March 20, 2023.

The core team brought their expertise and provided perspective for the organization's future growth: Ashwini Babu, Catherine Bullen, Dorottya Zalay, Marc van der Liet, Roser Pujol Gaja, Stefanie Muller, Stina Hotine, and Tetyana Kretova (and cute Liam). Tuba Yapincak could not join at this time.  

Mick Broekhof, Co-founder and Executive Secretary, addressed the core team and said, "think big, be bold, move forward, try and fail and do it again."

We also had the visit of Frans Muller, CEO Ahold Dehaize, and our first CEO Parity Pledge signer in 2016. Thank you for your extraordinary support of our mission, Ahold Delhaize.
