
Kathrin Assmann-Karg - Ingredion joins as Partner Ambassador
Kathrin Assmann-Karg, Senior Director Development & Innovation EMEA at Ingredion joins as Partner Ambassador.
Kathrin says: “I am excited to represent Ingredion EMEA as a Partner Ambassador at LEAD Network. It will give me the opportunity to learn from other companies' best practices and think about how to apply them within Ingredion. l am delighted to collaborate with people sharing my passion for female talent development and at the same time help consciously drive our business practices towards gender equality.”
As Senior Director Development & Innovation EMEA based in Hamburg, Germany, Kathrin is responsible for defining the functional strategy, driving innovation and building new capabilities to accelerate Specialty growth. Kathrin joined Ingredion in 2015 as Senior Technical Service Manager Europe. She then moved into her role as Senior Director Global Applications based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA.
Prior to joining Ingredion, Kathrin held various roles of increasing responsibility at G.C. Hahn & Co., and later at Tate & Lyle Food Systems in Lübeck, Germany. She holds a Master’s degree (FH Ing. diploma) in Food Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Lippe Lemgo.
