GBfoods signs the CEO Pledge
During a Spain Chapter event generously hosted by GBfoods in Barcelona, Miranda Prins-Visscher, at GBfoods Europe CEO, took a significant step by signing the CEO Pledge in the presence of our CEO, Allyson Zimmermann, who was also one of the event's inspiring speakers.
Miranda shared her deep commitment to driving meaningful change: “Diversity is a fact, equity is the underlying principle, and inclusion is a choice. From the start of my career, I focused on DEI to break the invisible glass ceiling for women.
She further emphasised: As GBFoods Europe CEO, I mapped the path to our 50:50 gender journey and encouraged everyone to make DEI part of their daily work. I soon realised many allies across the business strived for achieving this goal. Signing the CEO pledge isn’t just my personal promise, but our collective commitment to achieving gender parity for senior leaders by 2030.
LEAD Network thanks GBfoods Europe for their commitment to advancing women in the retail and consumer goods industry while driving sustainable business value.
Why This Matters:
By signing the CEO Gender Equity Pledge industry leaders commit to collectively increasing the LEAD Network Gender Diversity Scorecard (GDS) in the CPG & Retail industry by five percentage points, from 37% (2023) to 42% by 2027, and to building a plan to achieve gender parity over the next decade.
The Gender Diversity Scorecard is a bi-annual survey that tracks the percentage of women in senior executive roles within the retail and consumer goods industry across Europe. This year’s edition launches March 3, 2025.
