Ahold Delhaize renews CEO Pledge
Frans Muller, President and CEO of Ahold Delhaize first took the CEO Pledge in 2017, showcasing his commitment to advance gender equity. As a pioneer of the LEAD Network CEO Pledge and the CEO Roundtable, he has played a pivotal role in shaping this initiative. Ahold Delhaize has now renewed for the third time.
“It’s important in our industry, which is so people-intense, that all our brands are focused on creating an inclusive workplace for their associates. This will make sure all teams get better, with better decision making with more understanding and inclusivity,” said Frans Muller.
“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Frans Muller for his foundational leadership in our CEO Gender Equity Pledge and the CEO Roundtable. His visionary guidance has been crucial in advancing these initiatives,” stated Allyson Zimmermann, CEO of LEAD Network Europe.
She added, “This pledge is more than just words; it establishes an ambitious goal of increasing the LEAD Network Gender Diversity Scorecard in the CPG and Retail industry from 37% to 42% by 2027. Over the next decade, we will focus collectively on tangible actions to promote gender equity across the sector.”
With more than 50 industry leaders already on board, we invite CEOs from both our Partner Companies and non-LEAD Network Partner companies to join us in driving this collective change.
