New Co-Chair appointed for the NextGen Chapter!

Yoerike Rijkers-Pirrin, HR Business Partner at Unilever, is handling the baton as Co-Chair of the NextGen Chapter to Andrew Walker, Distribution Support Manager at John Lewis Partnership.

“Unilever is a Foundation Partner of LEAD Network, and a record number of employees are members of the foundation. Unilever corporate management also empowers many volunteers in key roles at LEAD Network who dedicate their time to supporting our mission. One of these volunteers, Yoerike Rijkers, is Co-Chair of the NextGen Chapter - focused on our future leaders. In her role, Yoerike has a strategic impact on one of our largest chapters’. – said Mick Broekhof, Co-Founder and Secretary of the Board of LEAD Network. “Yoerike will soon start on maternity leave, and in her absence, Andrew Walker, Distribution Support Manager at John Lewis Partnership, will take over her role. We wish Yoerike all the best and joy in the coming months.”

When accepting the role, the incoming Co-Chair, Andrew Walker, said: “I joined LEAD Network because I have a passion for People! Specifically helping coach & develop the next generation of leaders. LEAD Network allows me to connect with other inspirational leaders who are actively championing Inclusion within their companies.”

Everyone at LEAD Network wishes Yoerike all the best as she now takes a break to focus on family. We cannot wait to welcome her back to our volunteer community in the future! And we warmly welcome Andrew wishing him a fantastic journey within our NextGen Chapter.
